WELCOME TO CONTROVERSY CHARTERS
We specialize in offering charter
fishing from Cape Canaveral to Sebastian Inlet including
Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, Melbourne, Palm Bay, the beaches and all points
throughout the Space Coast. Whether you're looking for a fishing charter company
to take you along Brevard County's Indian River, along the coast or to deeper
areas off shore, Controversy Charters will make your fishing excursion
the highlight of your trip to Central Florida's Space Coast.
INDIAN RIVER LAGOON
Indian River and Mosquito Lagoon is world famous for giant Redfish and
Gator Trout. Miles of lush grass flats lined by mangrove covered shorelines
provide rod bending, drag screaming action as well as some of the best
scenery found anywhere. Schools of Redfish, sometimes as many as 400 per
school, feed in the shallow flats where anglers can sight cast to these
tailing fish. Spotted Seatrout provide great top water action and both
lagoons host some of the biggest and best Seatrout fishing found anywhere
in the world.
SEBASTIAN INLET
Sebastian Inlet is known for its world-class
Snook and Tarpon action. The inlet is extremely rough with
a swift current. It carries bait fish out into the ocean where they're
ambushed by trophy Snook and giant Tarpon. An incredible winter Flounder
run brings doormat size Flounder into the inlet along with big Bluefish
that are more than willing to blast a top water plug.
DEDICATION
Growing up along the Indian River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean allowed me to experience some of the best fishing in the world. Fishing the mullet run for giant Tarpon and Sharks, the extensive flats for Redfish and Trout, and the mangrove shorelines for Snook provided me with a lifetime full of memories. As your guide I want you to have the same adrenaline rush that I've experienced while chasing Florida's gamefish across these famous flats and inlets.
